7-Eleven Rally Up

 7-Eleven

Rally Up

The ask: Create both a shopper and brand marketing program to get customers a piece of their favorite college football players.

Rally Up had a two phase rollout—Cleat Crew and Sneaker Sweeps.

Phase 1: Cleat Crew

7-Eleven teamed up with the top stars in college football to auction off custom cleats benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Each player designed their own cleats with the help of bespoke luxury designer, The Shoe Surgeon.

Bo Nix

Drawing inspiration from his West Coast team and the patients at PeaceHealth, Bo’s fresh design is all about wearing his heart on his cleats. Bo opted for a classic white and gray silhouette with bright flashes of green and yellow as a nod to his time in Eugene. The cleats pay tribute to Eas, a former PeaceHealth patient and a 2023 U.S. Hospital Champion, with a laser engraved map of his hometown and handprint. Other personal touches from Bo include embroidered wings, names of patients from local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and a heartfelt ode to his wife.

Blake Corum

Blake Corum is essentially a create-a-player from a video game—maxed out in speed and power, but with the footwork to leave defenders pixelated in fear. Blake looks like he’s in the midst of leveling up in his senior year and wants his Cleat Crew design to represent the XP boost. Blake’s design depicts a custom gaming console with hardware powerful enough to handle his explosiveness. The “casing” of Blake’s console cleats is enveloped in sky blue, gray and black with all the details one would expect on a modern gaming console. The medial side features a painted “INSERT DISC” and memory card slot along with a leather power button patch. Painted start and reset buttons are on the lateral side as well as a caution label that reads “CAUTION: RUNNING SPEED CAUSES HEAT”. There’s also a painted “BC” port, as a play on the AC port with Blake’s initials, near the heel. On the heel itself are stitched audio and video out ports. X’s and O’s cover the tongue with painted air vents and Blake’s Deuce logo near the toe. The soles feature Blake’s name in big bold lettering with his Deuce logo at the bottom.

Dorian Singer

Dorian Singer is the epitome of hard work paying off—going from an unranked prospect to a standout playmaker for a West Coast powerhouse. His journey from the frigid cold of Saint Paul to the bright lights of Los Angeles is something that both Dorian and his fans are immensely proud of. Dorian’s design showcases this life-changing change of scenery in stunning hand-painted detail. Set over a sunset gradient, the right cleat features the Saint Paul skyline while the left cleat features the Los Angeles skyline. You can find the 7-Eleven and Children’s Miracle Networks logo adoring the lateral heel, with the Cleat Crew logo featured on the tongue tag. Look inside and you’ll see Dorian’s favorite bible verse, 2 Corinthians 5:7, laid over Red Sea inspired insoles.

Kam Arnold

Kam Arnold is all about big hits on the field and the silver screen. Although Boston’s senior linebacker is in his final act as a collegiate player, Kam looks to make it an ending worthy of a sequel in the pros. Kam’s love for football might be slightly eclipsed by his love for movies—what better way to showcase the two than on his cleats! Kam’s Cleat Crew design is thematically a movie premier on top of a color scheme of red, white and black. Both sides are adorned with spotlights dancing across the night sky while the red on the tongue and heel represents theater curtains and the red carpet. The medial side features a countdown leader along with five stars that include “A’s” within each point to represent Kam’s family. The lateral side has a glow-in-the-dark ‘Family Over Everything” graphic in gold. Last but not least, the insoles are inspired by Kam’s favorite movie of all time—can you guess what it is?

Marvin Harrison Jr.

It didn’t take long for Marvin Harrison, Jr. to be one of the top receivers in the college game today—last season he was already seen as the most exciting wide receiver prospect to enter the draft in the past 25 years! Marvin wanted his cleats to be as hyped as he is, so he took inspiration from one of the most hyped sneakers of the past few years. They’re wrapped in red, white and cracked black leather for a true Columbus look. Marvin’s number 18 and initials are embroidered on the left and right heel patches respectively. He even added his own brandmark logo on the heel, which is complimented by the 7-Eleven and Speedway logos.

Nick Singleton

If there’s one word to describe Nick Singleton, it’s lighting. A bolt of energy on and off the field with all the flash that comes with it. Give Nick even a little daylight and he’ll streak towards the end zone with an electricity that defenses can only hope to contain. Nick wanted this flashy element of his game and personality to be showcased on his cleats. Nick’s Cleat Crew design features several teal and white lightning bolts crackling through the night sky on both sides. Overlaid on a canvas of teal, black, white and silver, the lighting is accompanied by the initials of his parents on the heels along with Nick’s childhood #1 on the right medial side. The #1 and Nick’s parents’ initials are also heavily featured on the insoles.

Travis Hunter

For Travis Hunter, this season is all about solidifying himself as the GOAT on both sides of the ball. Football means everything to Travis—he puts in the work every day to be the greatest player to ever pick up the pigskin. The design draws inspiration from Travis’ goals and love for Boulder. It includes hand painted details like his number 12, nickname “TIP” and a GOAT silhouette on a gold to black gradient cleat. The asymmetrical kicks also feature rays of sunshine on the right cleat and lighting on the left. The 7-Eleven and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals logos adorn the lateral heel as a reminder of what being a part of the Cleat Crew is all about – supporting kids’ health and ultimately helping our communities thrive.

Trevor Etienne

Gainesville has a new breakout star—and his name is Trevor Etienne. After a stellar freshman season, the Sunshine State’s starting running back is back for his sophomore outing and is already making waves. But this early success at collegiate sports’ highest level hasn’t made Trevor forget where he came from—and his Cleat Crew design is proof. These all-white cleats, based on his favorite sneaker growing up, sport black embroidered shoutouts to his home and support system. Trevor’s hometown area code (337) and street address (1881) are featured on the left and right lateral respectively, while the initials of his aunt and uncle (CJ and KL) are featured on the heels. The final touch is Trevor’s own brandmark (etn) adorned on the right medial side and checkered throughout the insoles.

Quinn Ewers

Quinn Ewers’ custom cleats reveal what’s closest to his heart: family, faith, service and a love for the outdoors. To honor Veterans and those currently serving our country, Quinn opted for a decked-out camouflage design with personalized patches to represent the United States Military. The cleats also feature pops of pink as a heartfelt tribute to Quinn’s mother, Kristen, who passed away of breast cancer. Her initials and birthday are patched on the right medial side of the cleat. Other personal touches include Bible verse Joshua 1:9, his lucky number three and a hunting radar symbol

Micah Parsons

The Dallas Linebacker also wanted to contribute to the cause with a custom cleat that shows his love for the red, white and blue.

Phase 2: Sneaker Sweeps
